Started Shooting: 2008,  Doug started his Para sport career in wheelchair rugby after he was injured in a car accident in December 1995. With the birth of his kids, life got busy, and Doug temporarily retired from sport. When time permitted a return to competitive sports at age 37, he tried Shooting Para sport.

Advice for newcomers to the sport: Dive in head first and buy the best equipment you can afford.
