The Shooting Federation of Canada is incorporated under the Canada Not-for-Profit Corporations Act. The Act sets the requirements for governance of the corporation, additionally SFC has by-laws to support the specific governance of SFC.

Annual Meeting

As an incorporated not-for-profit organization Shooting Federation hosts an Annual Meeting for members of the corporation to receive the Audited Financial Statements, elect Directors and cover other corporate business matters as required under the Canada Not-For-Profit Corporations Act.

Traditionally, to meet legislative requirements, the annual meeting is held early fall, members in good standing will be notified when a date is set.

The process and procedures for our Annual Meeting will follow the requirements of the Act as well as the organization’s By-laws.
