Match Start Times

Please note that the times on the schedule are the times for the first SCORING shot in ISSF events. Rules and Regulations

The current ISSF rules, including all amendments, interpretations, and errata available on the  ISSF website, will apply to all ISSF events. Sporting Rifle competitions will follow the latest  SFC Sporting Rifle Rules. Hunting Rifle events will adhere to the rules previously established by  Red Bowes and updated by Robert Wood.

Target Marking and Scoring for Hunting Rifle Events

When paper targets are used in Hunting Rifle events, .22 cal. targets will be marked by range  officials using the “3-R Target Marking System” (Right Red Relay), which includes the relay  number and position only. Pre-marking of targets is neither required nor permitted.

After shooting, targets must be immediately handed in for scoring. Once scores are posted,  shooters may request to see their targets. Competitors will have a 10-minute window to review  their targets after the scores for the stage in question are posted (e.g., after a 60-shot prone  match).

Scoring Protests

Protests regarding the scoring of paper targets must be made within the 10-minute challenge time  after the scores for all relays of the event in question are posted. The Jury will handle all scoring  protests.

Challenge Fee: $5.00 per scoring protest on paper targets.

Review Process: For Hunting Rifle events, the Jury will examine all 20 shots on the  target. If any change is made to the score, the fee will be refunded.

Restrictions: Only the Jury is permitted to use a plug gauge, and a shot hole may be  "plugged" only once by the Jury. No one else is allowed to handle or use a plug gauge  under any circumstances.

Protests will be handled by the Jury. Cost is $25.00 each.

• The Jury’s decisions are final.

Non-medical use of drugs, or the consumption of alcohol is not permitted anywhere on range  property. Random doping tests for any competitor are possible at any time. Please see the SFC  website for the SFC Policy on Doping in Sport.
