Started Shooting: Lori started shooting through army cadets when she was 12. Then she competed in biathlon, and in various military competitions before switching to ISSF shooting disciplines in 2007.
Highlights:
Won gold at women's NATO competition in 2006.
Named to Canada's Bisley team in 2007.
Member of Canada's military CISM team from 2007 to 2017.

Advice for newcomers to the sport: Be intentional with your training, focusing on one skill each time you train, they will all come together. This includes developing your mental skills, you'll rely on the mental more than the technical in tough competitions.
Best advice received: Advice from a Russian champion - focus on your breath, the body will follow and relax.
Favourite Memory: Walking into the stadium in India for the opening ceremony of the CISM 2007 World Games.
Hobbies: RVing, travelling & continuing education.
