Paul Alexander Memorial BC Airgun Championships

Date: Saturday – Sunday, March 8-9, 2025

Location: Richmond Rod and Gun Club -7400 River Road Richmond, BC

Place: Richmond Rod and Gun Club 7400 River Road Richmond B.C. (Southwest of #3 Rd & Cambie Rd)

Eligibility: Open to all competitors. Membership in B.C.T.S.A. AND S.F.C. (or) their respective Provincial or

National organization is REQUIRED. The match is limited to a total of 40 shooters only.

Course of Fire: The match consists of 2 complete courses of fire of 60 shots for an aggregate match score. 75 minutes for open classes, Ladies, and Junior competitors on electronic targets. A 15-minute preparation time and sighting time start before the relay.

Classification: Competitors will be classified according to their SFC shooting cards. Those unable to produce a valid card will compete in the Expert Class.

Rules: Standard ISSF Rules will apply with the use of electronic targets.

  • Athletes must wear athletic clothing… no jeans, khakis, shorts, or sweat apparel are permitted.

  • NO brands (examples: Nike, Roots, Adidas, etc.). Pistol shooters are PROHIBITED to wear high tops

  • during relays.

  • No Camouflage is permitted.

  • Failure to abide by ISSF Rules will be disqualified. NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • Rules placed upon by Richmond Rod And Gun Club will be enforced. NO EXCEPTIONS

Airguns: All Airguns must meet ISSF specifications. Airguns will be subject to inspection. The same airgun must be used for all 3 courses of fire to qualify for the aggregate score unless it becomes disabled and then may be replaced with approval of the Chief Range Officer.

Schedule:

Range Setup - Friday, March 7, 2025 @ 3:30pm. Open Practice will be till 8pm after range setup.

Match Day:

Registration Check In: upon arrival for relay

(NEW PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE EQUIPMENT CHECKED IN PRIOR TO THE START OF THE MATCH)

***SPOT CHECKS MAY BE CONTUCTED THROUGHOUT THE MATCH AT THE DISCRETION OF THE

CHIEF RANGE OFFICER***

  • A Relay – Saturday 9:30am Sunday 9:30am

  • B Relay - Saturday 11:45am Sunday 11:45am

  • C Relay – Saturday 2:30pm Sunday 2:30pm

All Athletes are expected to be ready no later than 25 minutes PRIOR to the official relay start to be

called to the line

Awards (immediately after range tear down) – approx. 5pm on Sunday, March 9, 2025
