The Red Doolittle Matches at Arnprior

March 15-16 now open

The Red Doolittle Memorial Pistol Matches for March 15-16 are now on http://www.targetscores.com for registration, or send email to arnpriordrra@gmail.com and let them know what and when you want to shoot.

Individual matches are $10 each and black powder events are $5. A reminder that the .22 matches can be used to help apply for the exemption letter to allow you to purchase .22 target handguns from the Shooting Federation of Canada, despite the handgun “freeze.”

Matches open to ALL competitors from any club.  Walk-ons are permitted but with six positions at the range they are not guaranteed a spot. Events are $10 each. Payment is made at the club by cash or by cheque made to Arnprior & District Rifle and Revolver Association.

An event must be shot and scored a minimum of three times to qualify for prizes. You can pay and compete in an event more than once per weekend. Prizes consist of trophies adapted from those won by Red Doolittle during his lifetime, or a cash award. Competitors choose their award preference once for the entire match, all events. Black Powder matches are $5 and have no prizes.
