    We Need your Support!

The Paris 2024 Olympics mark a historic moment for SFC as Canada sends three athletes to compete for the first time since Beijing 2008! Our Canadian Shooting Team is gearing up to represent us at the highest level, with three athletes and two coaches heading to Chateauroux, France.

    Meet the Team:

    • Michele Esercitato (AB)
    • Tye Ikeda (AB)
    • Shannon Westlake (ON)

The cost of sending a team to the Olympics is substantial, and much of it falls on the SFC. Our goal is to raise $25,000 to support our team in Paris. Your support will support the training expenses of our Olympic athletes and cover travel, accommodation, and meal costs not funded by the COC.

Every dollar you contribute makes a difference in our athletes’ journey to success.

To donate to the Canadian Shooting Team, click the link here, https://sfc-ftc.ca/donations. All donations receive a tax receipt.

We appreciate your support! Every contribution brings us closer to our goal. Thank you for being part of the Canadian Shooting Team’s Journey to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games!

The Shooting Federation of Canada is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Jocelyn Langlois, a cherished and integral figure in the Canadian shooting community for many decades.

Jocelyn dedicated his life to the sport he loved, significantly impacting the Canadian shooting community through his work and passion. He spent a period working directly for the Shooting Federation of Canada, contributing to the growth and development of the sport on a national level.

Jocelyn took great pride in being an accomplished NCCP Level 5 Coach (pistol). He served as the National Pistol Team Assistant Coach and later as the National Team Head Coach for several years, guiding and mentoring many athletes to achieve their highest potential.

After his tenure with the Federation, Jocelyn became widely known for his shooting equipment store, Cibles Canada Targets, in Gatineau, Quebec. His store became a cornerstone of the shooting community, providing shooters with the highest quality equipment and expert advice. As an accomplished target shooter himself, Jocelyn had an unparalleled understanding of the equipment needed to excel in various shooting disciplines. His extensive knowledge and commitment to excellence made him a trusted advisor and friend to many.

Jocelyn's expertise, coupled with his warm and generous spirit, earned him the admiration and respect of countless individuals. He had an extraordinary ability to connect with people, offering guidance and support that went far beyond the sale of equipment. His invaluable advice and unwavering dedication to helping others will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Jocelyn Langlois will be deeply missed by the many people he assisted throughout the years. His legacy of expertise, kindness, and passion for the sport of shooting will continue to inspire and influence the Canadian shooting community for generations to come.

In this time of sorrow, the Shooting Federation of Canada extends its deepest condolences to Jocelyn's family and loved ones. We join them in mourning the loss of a remarkable individual whose impact on our community will never be forgotten.
