UPDATE: The 2023 National Identified Team has now been selected.

The Identified Team is operates within SFC Domestic Operations. All previous deadlines have been extended to allow new procedures and criteria to be right-sized. This will give athletes more time to meet the requirements as they are implemented.

The SFC Identified Team members are athletes at the “Train to Train” stage of the LTD. They need to hone their physical and mental skills, require regular coaching from an NCCP Comp Dev coach, build an understanding to develop a YTP, and attend competitions that are in line with their development level as an athlete. This will assist them in achieving higher stages of the long-term development and enter the High Performance Team (see HP criteria here).

Identified Team members are encouraged to participate in provincial, national, USA and International Grand Prix competitions to gain experience and develop their potential (upon approval of the Identified Team Coach).
