Jim O'Connor Memorial Award

This award was established in 1983 to honor the memory of Jim O'Connor. Jim was very active in organizing competitions in the Hamilton area and with the Monarch Rifle Association. He was SFC Executive Director from 1967 to 1974 and Technical Director from 1974-1977. This prestigious award is presented annually to an individual who has demonstrated a lifetime's outstanding contribution to the development and promotion of the shooting sports in Canada.
