Newcomers to target shooting (and newcomers to Canada) could take the opportunity to explore local ranges that participate in National Range Day (June 1st) - a day created to recognize licensed gun owners who responsibly, legally, and safely own and use firearms in Canada.

Many clubs offer a "Try it Days" showcasing target shooting and local programs and events.
